About Practica Learning
We believe better conversations change organizations.
In 2000, the internet transformed how organizations shared information, collaborated, and grew. But greater access to knowledge did not always lead to better performance.
Salespeople struggled to apply their training with customers. Managers understood coaching models but rarely coached. Leaders developed strong strategies but struggled to communicate them in ways that inspired action.
Organizations had solved the problem of sharing knowledge. They had not solved the problem of changing behaviour.
Practica Learning was founded in 2000 to solve that problem.
Inspired by music, sports, and performance—and informed by Anders Ericsson’s research on Deliberate Practice—we created a new approach to learning. Instead of relying on lectures, we partnered with professional actors to help people rehearse important workplace conversations, receive immediate feedback, and improve their skills before applying them in the real world.
What began as telephone-based practice sessions evolved into a global approach to developing the conversations that drive revenue, leadership, culture, and growth.
Today, Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the workplace once again. AI can expand access to learning, but the human skills that build trust—curiosity, empathy, clarity, and confidence—have never been more valuable.
Practica is now powered by more than 65 Professional Roleplayer Coaches who deliver realistic practice experiences virtually and in person worldwide. Alongside them is Aria, our purpose-built AI practice partner, which enables people to rehearse critical conversations on demand.
